On April 4th 2008 Chad James and his band blessed the congregation and the surrounding community of Village Church of Gurnee with a spectacular time of performance and praise. Village has had many musicians and worship leaders visit over the years and we must confess that Chad has been one of the most genuine and easy-going artists we’ve ever worked with. As a worship pastor himself Chad understands the challenges and limitations of churches with respect to holding full-production concerts. But he also successfully walks the fine line between performing and leading people into a worship experience that both glorifies God and edifies the Body of Christ. We were also impressed with Chad’s ability to create an atmosphere where our non-Christian friends and neighbors could feel both comfortable and challenged. We highly recommend Chad James and band for any number of settings – worship, concerts, retreats, conferences – you name it. We are very excited to welcome Chad back to Village on November 12th for another great evening.

Just thought that I'd drop you a line to say that I listened to ' Strong ' traveling to and from football today; what an excellent album this is !!
I have listened to and have enjoyed every single song on the album and so am going to recommend that all the tracks on ' Strong ' are put onto our main play lists here at Revival FM.
As far as my own program is concerned I am going to make ' Strong' my album of the month for March 2008 and I will also play a track as part of the ' myspace ' part of my program in two weeks time ( ie 25th February ) however the opening track for my program on the 11th will be 'I want to know you '.
I am always looking for an album that is different to anything else that is around just now and this one ticks all the right boxes - superb songwriting , excellent vocals and some superb musicianship have all combined to make this an album that merits 5 out of 5.

It is my privilege to write on behalf of Chad James. Mr. James performed for my organization, The Boys' & Girls' Brigade in Neenah Wisconsin, this past year. His musical ability was surpassed only by his personal testimony.
The audience for Mr. James' appearance was 8th grade boys. He did a magnificent job of relating to the young men. His words and songs made a big impact on the boys. His stage presence allowed for an enjoyable evening while his musical talent made for a memorable night. The adult volunteers that work with our youth were equally impressed and influenced.

Chad has been a part of River of Life Christian Center for over 3 years. As a Pastor, I recognize the calling of God on his life. Chad is called to minister to people through music. His talents have been well received not only the local church, but in coffee houses, outdoor events, and others churches in the area.
Chad has a unique testimony in that he was born with only one hand. Music ministry for Chad seemed to be an impossibility to the natural mind. Chad faced that challenge, overcoming the obstacles and he learned to play the guitar with one hand and a guitar pick fastened to his arm. He is an example to all who struggle reaching beyond life’s circumstances. He displays the power of God at work, and brings hope to the hopeless.
Chad has also been blessed with the ability to write songs that touch the heart. He has captured the essence of life, it’s struggles, and God’s love for us in his lyrics. Chad shares with a warmth and an innocents that draws people to God. Combined with his vocal talent, he has been a blessing to our ministry.
I would personally recommend Chad James for any Christian venue. He is an asset to the Kingdom of God.
